What’s New in the 2019 Sorento?
It’s all about the details with the newest Sorento, and those details couldn’t be more crisp. The base trim level will once again come with a 2.4L inline-4 engine with 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. thanks to a bit of fine tuning from the Kia engineering team, this engine will now get better fuel efficiency for 2019. There is also an available 3.3L V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque if you need a little more power. While we don’t know for sure yet, Kia has also played around with the idea of adding a diesel engine into the mix for the Sorento in the future. Aside from the performance, there will also be a host of infotainment technology and active safety features to give you and your passengers the best overall driving experience.
