What’s new in the 2020 Kia Forte?
It’s hard to believe we’re already talking about 2020 Kia models, but believe it or not, a few of them have already been released. The 2020 Kia Forte is one of them. The Forte is a popular option among drivers seeking a fuel-efficient compact car. It’s more than just the fuel efficiency, though. Take a look at what’s new in the 2020 Kia Forte here on our blog!
Specs and Features in the 2020 Kia Forte
Marked by a slight alteration in exterior styling that almost resembles the Stinger, the 2020 Forte is a force to be reckoned with. The body features sleek body lines as well as the signature tiger-nose grille. Trim levels for 2020 reflect a variety of options, with choices that include the base FE, midrange LXS, sporty GT Line, luxurious EX or the performance-enhanced GT. You’ll notice these trim levels are similar to the choices offered in the 2019 Forte, except the GT Line replaces the S trim from last year. Opting for the performance-enhanced GT gifts drivers with impressive performance and powertrain features like 201 horsepower, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and an independent rear suspension. The GT trim also comes with sporty 18-inch wheels as well.
While we don’t know for sure yet, there is speculation that the 2020 Forte may also come in a hatchback option as well. You may recall that the 2018 Kia Forte5 was the last Forte to feature a hatchback body style, but it may return in the near future. Some of the other specs and features you can expect to find in the 2020 Forte include:
- Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
- Power sunroof
- Windshield wiper de-icer
- UVO eServices with 8-inch touchscreen
- Voice-Command Navigation
- Harman/Kardon® premium audio system
- Rear-Camera Display
- Wireless phone charger
- And much more!
The 2020 Forte is expected to arrive at dealerships sometime around mid-summer of 2019. Until then, get the latest rundown by contacting our team here at Hometown Kia or browse our current 2019 Forte options!
