How to change the tires on your Kia?

Your spare tire is in your trunk along with a jack kit that would have come with the purchase of your car. If not, then make sure to purchase a jack kit and have it in your car at all times. Also, ensure that our spare tire has air in it. Continue reading to learn the steps to changing the tire on your Kia.

Step 1: Engage the emergency parking brake and ensure the emergency lights are on.

Step 2: Ensure you are not exposed to oncoming traffic and locate the spare tire and jack kit.

Step 3: Use the jack from the jack kit to raise the car to an appropriate height.

Step 4: Use the lug wrench from the jack kit to unscrew the nuts and remove the hubcap.

Step 5: Roll away the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.

Step 6: Using the lug wrench tighten the nuts and replace the hubcap.

Step 7: Lower the jack until the tire hits the ground.

Step 8: Roll the flat tire and place it in the cargo space. Replace the jack kit as well.

Step 9: Have your vehicle checked at the nearest service center for a referral.
