Each year J.D. Power performs a number of different studies. One of the most exciting and important is the Vehicle Dependability Study, which for 2018 was just completed and announced. The VDS is an industrywide study that looks at reported issues and comments from the past twelve months submitted by owners of vehicles that have been on the road for three years. So, for this year, that’d be 2015 model year vehicles.
