Each year, dozens of automotive manufacturers gather at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association’s convention, aka, in this case, the 2018 SEMA Show. In the weeks or months leading up to the event, these brands team up with aftermarket brands to create ultimate versions of their most popular vehicles, and this year there were a host of modified Kia vehicles at the event. Much earlier this year, we touched on one of the vehicles going through a battery of upgrades and refinements heading into the new model year, but we haven’t spoken much about it since. The 2019 Kia K900 should be arriving anytime now, as its release date is scheduled for quarter four, 2018, which is now. Last month at the New York International Auto Show, Kia introduced several all-new vehicles that have us even more excited for the future. In addition to the Optima and Sedona, a new version of the top-of-the-line Kia K900 will be gracing the 2019 model year lineup with its presence. Since its introduction in 2013, the K900 has shown what Kia is capable of in the premium marketplace, and 2019 only looks to continue cementing that reputation as the first year in the full-size sedan’s second generation when it is released during the fourth quarter this year. Kia has just released a new UVO Services upgrade! This latest Kia UVO eServices technology is an exclusive feature, reserved only for owners the 2016 K900. With the new version, UVO Luxury Services, drivers will be able to enjoy remote vehicle command options, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and so much more.
Goal of the UVO upgrade to UVO Luxury Services is to allow vehicle occupants to more safely use their mobile devices and in more ways than previously offered. The upgrade’s reveal follows that of Kia’s new 2017 model releases at this year’s auto shows. (more…)
