Eight Kia Models Earn Top Safety Pick or Higher from IIHS

As vehicles become available, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety puts them through their battery of tests to determine just how safe they are. The safety ratings that come as a result of these tests are some of the most highly regarded by consumers on the entire market. If a vehicle gets a bad score from the IIHS, you should probably steer clear. Likewise, if a vehicle achieves an impressive score, that’s a vehicle you should consider. Furthermore, if a specific brand manages to stack up more of these impressive ratings than any other brand, you should simply look at that brand in general. This is why we’re so pleased to inform you that eight, yes eight, Kia models have earned either the 2018 Top Safety Pick or, the only thing that’s higher, a 2018 Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS. Each year in Las Vegas, several of the automotive manufacturers around the industry gather to showcase what’s truly capable with their vehicles at the SEMA Show. SEMA is the Specialty Equipment Market Association, and essentially the auto show is a gathering of traditional automakers and the companies that build aftermarket accessories and upgrades for their vehicles to combine them and create incredible special edition vehicles. The 2017 Kia Cadenza will not disappoint; in fact, it is pleasantly surprising. This model is more luxurious than you’d expect and it is powerful too. The 2017 Kia Cadenza has a 3.3L V6 engine that delivers 290 horsepower. Although Kia is a Korean company, this car was designed by none other than Peter Schreyer the German engineer who previously designed for Audi.
