2020 Kia Super Bowl Commercial

Kia used a 60-second ad at Super Bowl LIV to raise awareness about homeless youth and announce a campaign to donate $1,000 split between three charities for each yard gained in the big game. Featured in the “Tough Never Quits” Super Bowl ad is a rookie running back for the Oakland Raiders who was homeless as a child, Josh Jacobs.

Throughout the commercial, Jacobs drives around an all-new 2021 Kia Seltos and talks to a younger version of himself—giving him advice and hope for the future. As the two approach a football field, Jacobs encourages his young, homeless self to give football everything he has. Finally, he says, “Push yourself to be someone and I promise someday you will.” Watch the commercial and a short documentary about Jacobs below!
