2018 Kia Stinger Mount Hope WV
The Kia lineup hits a lot of marks, having models available in several of the most popular segments on the market. Full-size luxury sedans, subcompact hatchbacks, hybrid crossovers, et cetera. But there is one segment in which Kia has never really had a presence: sports cars. But all that will change as we enter the next model year, when the 2018 Kia Stinger in Mount Hope WV is released.
This year at the North American International Auto Show, Kia surprised everyone with the introduction of the 2018 Kia Stinger – a midsize, 5-door hatchback sports car. It won Best in Show and an EyesOn Design Award, and we believe it will continue to collect awards and double takes after its release later this year.

Specs & Features of the 2018 Kia Stinger
We put together the table above to give you a better idea of what we know about the 2018 Kia Stinger thus far. Obviously, it’s still very early, so not a lot is known as far as specifications or even content. But Kia did release information about some of the most important aspects of vehicles today: performance and safety. We listed some of the most exciting in the table up above, as well as a few comments about the Stinger’s design.
For instance, the 2018 Kia Stinger will be offered with two different powertrain options. The first and standard option is a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that can generate up to 255 horsepower, and the available upgrade is a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 capable of doling out a whopping 365 horsepower. While fuel economy ratings are a long way off, we assume they’ll be pretty good considering both engines are turbocharged.
As more information about the 2018 Kia Stinger, which was originally the GT Concept Car, becomes available, we’ll be sure to keep you updated right here on the Hometown Kia website and blog. So make sure you continue to check back if you think you might be interested in the sports car.
