2018 Kia Forte Mount Hope WV

2018 Kia Forte Mount Hope WV Exterior Front Profile

While the Kia Forte has only been around since 2009, it has quickly become one of the more popular and recognizable vehicles on the Kia lineup. It might never be able to surpass the iconic Kia Soul, but its popularity is indisputable, and we love it just as much as all of you do! Last year, the Forte received a bit of a facelift and makeover, so this year didn’t see quite as many changes in the 2018 Kia Forte in Mount Hope WV.

What did happen to the 2018 Forte was some package enhancements, in other words certain trim levels and add-on packages now offer a better range of features. For instance, the LX trim level with automatic transmission and LX Popular Package both now come standard with cruise control. The LX Popular Package also adds UVO3, meaning drivers and passengers will be able to use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay if they have a compatible device on the road.

Specs & Features of the 2018 Forte

Before we dive into some of the exciting specs & features that make the 2018 Forte such a great option, let’s finish up our discussion about the package changes. In addition to the updates mentioned above, the LX Popular Plus Package also offers redesigned alloy wheels, LED taillights and even a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Kia Forte S trim level now offers 16” alloy wheels while a sunroof is now offered in the Technology Package. Unfortunately, this means the Premium Package is no longer an option. And finally, the Forte EX will now feature some driver-assistive safety technologies, like Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

If those changes don’t really tell you anything in regard to why you should be excited about the 2018 Kia Forte, we thought we’d dive into some of its specs & features in a bit more detail. We thought we’d focus on technology, since that’s often one of the most important aspects of a vehicle. In addition to some of the technologies we mentioned above, certain Kia Forte models also offer the UVO eServices App and/or Parking Minder as additional interior tech features. Other safety technologies include a backup camera, Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning System.

As you can see, there is plenty to get excited about in the 2018 Kia Forte, and we’ve only begun to scratch the surface. Get in touch with us if you’d like to learn even more!
