2017 Kia Rio Mount Hope WV
The 2017 Kia Rio will remain largely unchanged from the 2016 Kia Rio. This fourth generation Rio is a not a redesign so much as it is a sophisticated step forward. Gone is the tiger nose grille, replaced by a sleeker less showy grille it runs from headlight to headlight.
The base level is simple and has just what is needed. But as you move up the trim levels, you will appreciate the driver-focused design more and more. You will also likely enjoy the standard and optional features like the touchscreen infotainment system, and the heated steering wheel.
While the overall look has not changed drastically, the length of the 2017 Kia Rio has. The wheelbase is longer and the overall car is almost 1 inch longer. This means a roomier interior, in fact for the subcompact class it may even have the most headroom.
Another change to look forward to is the floating infotainment system. This new Kia design has the infotainment system angled into the car, extended slightly beyond the dashboard. The idea is that is more easily accessed by the driver. The site of it may take some getting used to, but once you’ve used it you are sure to become a raving fan.
