Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving 2017 Mount Hope WV

We know that for some, Thanksgiving can end up being a stressful day. So, if you’re looking for something other than spending the whole day cooking up side dishes and roasting a turkey, we’ve got a few ideas for restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving Day 2017. While there aren’t really any restaurants open here in Mount Hope WV, there are quite a few in the surrounding area, and you can discover them by reading below!

Smokey’s Steakhouse

For starters, you can head over to Smokey’s Steakhouse at Adventures on the Gorge in Lansing. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., they’ll be offering both a Thanksgiving Brunch. Brunch costs $39.95 for adults or $15 for children aged 8-12 (7 and under free). We recommend you make a reservation, as this incredible selection will go quick. While it’s no longer available, they also offered Thanksgiving to go, which featured fully-cooked Thanksgiving meals that you could pick up and prepare at home without worrying about cooking. Speaking of a pre-made meal, you can do the same thing at Tamarack’s in Beckley. For $249 plus taxes and fees, you can get a full meal that feeds 10. The meal includes a 12-14-pound Slow Roast Tom Turkey, old-fashioned gravy, country-style cornbread stuffing, maple-glazed sweet potatoes, Tamarack whipped potatoes, country-style green beans, fresh cranberry relish, a mixed green salad with dressing, freshly-baked rolls and a choice of two pies. There are also additional items that you can add for an extra fee.

Twin Falls Resort State Park

Lastly, you can head to the Twin Falls Resort State Park in Mullens for a Thanksgiving Buffet. The buffet will run from 1-4:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and cost $23.95 for adults and $11.95 for 12 and under. The buffet includes turkey, ham, and all of the traditional sides and fixings. While the buffet will run until 4, seating will cease at 3 so hurry in!
