How dependable is the Kia Rio?

Each year J.D. Power performs a number of different studies. One of the most exciting and important is the Vehicle Dependability Study, which for 2018 was just completed and announced. The VDS is an industrywide study that looks at reported issues and comments from the past twelve months submitted by owners of vehicles that have been on the road for three years. So, for this year, that’d be 2015 model year vehicles. While the all-new 2018 Kia Rio is available now, and it’s starting to look like an even better option in the small car segments as owners seem to be pretty happy with the 2015 model. (more…)

There are few basic maintenance tasks that should be done fairly regularly to keep a vehicle in top running condition. Tire rotations, windshield wiper replacements, and oil changes are just a few of these. Each of one is very important. But why do you need to get an oil change? While unbalanced tires could cause car shaking, and worn-out windshield wipers will stop clearing your windshield, it can be harder to notice if your oil needs to be changed. The J.D. Power 2017 Initial Quality Study is always one of the most exciting series of awards each year, as manufacturer and consumer both take it extremely seriously. Last year, Kia ended up at the very top of the nameplate list, and this year they’ve repeated the feat.
