As vehicles become available, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety puts them through their battery of tests to determine just how safe they are. The safety ratings that come as a result of these tests are some of the most highly regarded by consumers on the entire market. If a vehicle gets a bad score from the IIHS, you should probably steer clear. Likewise, if a vehicle achieves an impressive score, that’s a vehicle you should consider. Furthermore, if a specific brand manages to stack up more of these impressive ratings than any other brand, you should simply look at that brand in general.
