By now, you’ve likely heard a lot about Kia’s first foray into the high-performance marketplace, the 2018 Kia Stinger. It’s packed with premium amenities, gorgeous design cues and much more. “The Stinger is a prime example of Kia’s commitment to surpassing consumers’ expectations in everything we do. Although the Stinger is unlike any other Kia that has come before it in terms of pure driving enjoyment, it is still very much a traditional Kia in that it offers consumers a very compelling value proposition, providing excellent performance and handling, premium features and functionality when compared to its much higher-priced competitors.”
– Orth Hedrick, Vice President of Product Planning, Kia Motors America
Remember that MSRP is just the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price, not the final price. It doesn’t take into account things like taxes, licensing and other fees that will be decided by the final retailer. It also doesn’t include available options that you might want to add. For instance, making the Stinger all-wheel drive – regardless of trim level – will be an additional $2,200 on top of the MSRP. For instance, getting an AWD version of the base Stinger trim would actually bump the MSRP up to $35,000 rather than $32,800.
